It's like, Oh my God, it's $3 million, but it's $3 million and entire lifestyle change.

You have to uproot everything and move it to a completely different coast.

You have to change your kids' schools.

You have to do so many different things.

Um, so I do think maybe, you know, like when the coaching staff, um, some of them were fired, some of them, you know, decided to leave a lot.

we're very clear that we saw the writing on the wall, you know, we, they resigned or they decided to go elsewhere.

It's like, this is not necessarily home for us anymore.

And so you have to wonder with a guy like Edwin Diaz, when you hear Brandon Nimmo say, I was taken aback by the trade.

And you're like, well, that's not great.

And maybe you're Edwin Diaz and you're friends with Pete Alonso.

And he's like, I don't see things going well.

You understand the change is coming.

And then you get the Devin Williams signing, which I think is a fantastic signing.

But if you're Edwin Diaz, and from what we're told, there was not a whole lot of communication about that to Edwin Diaz.

If you see Devin Williams getting signed, maybe in your head, you're like, they don't want me.

So the question becomes, what is the level of communication?

And I have written about this.

What is the level of communication between the front office and its players?

Because all these guys are kind of saying the same thing in different ways, which is essentially, we didn't feel wanted.

if you're a baseball player and you're going into a place where you don't think that they need you, they want you even when they do, because the Mets absolutely wanted Edwin Diaz back, but apparently they did not have that level of communication where he, he gave the team that he's been with for years.
