The corporate watchdog ASIC questioned some accounting numbers in its results and has forced the company to change how it values its petrol stations. matched

Now, the issue that the watchdog raised was that Viva Energy is grouping some convenience retail sites together when testing them for an impairment rather than assessing each site individually. matched

And that means the company now faces an extra $25 million. matched

Dollars in impairment charges for the year ending 31st of December 2025, following that audit. matched
