And that becomes so clear in the movie, uh particularly in the opening of New Moon, because everyone around her, like when she gets to school and you see all the other characters.
Yeah, including Mike.
Mike, yeah.
Um, all the other characters, like, at least they've got something going on with personality.
Bella is just as I mean, she gets more personality as this movie goes on, but at the start, she is just so bland, so stuttery.
And it's not even Kristen Stewart's fault because she's just playing her the way she's meant to be played.
Yeah.
But the way she plays her is just it's such a nothing character.
You're just like, why is anyone giving this girl the time of day?
And I guess that's a point.
Every ordinary girl wants to believe that a magical hundred year old vampire will instantly fall in love with them.
I just kinda think back to like the other books I was reading around then, like Shadow Hunters and like Clary's got such a good personality, or even if you get more into those apocalyptic novels, it's like Katniss or Triss, um, from like the Hunger Games and Divergent, respectively.
All have such personalities and such intensity and just something, whereas Bella's just there.
Yeah, she's just there.
She's just there.
And she rocks it.
And again, no hate, no shade, but it it's very painfully obvious in the first part of the movie.
So yes, we get to the school, forks forks high.
