So if you wanted a good outfit, you had to go to the mall.

So if you wanted to go to law school, you had to pick one adjacent to a mall.

And just lucky for her, the prestigious Stanford Law School was near there.

So she went to Stanford and she said, Amanda, that when she got there, she just realized that she, quote unquote, was not like the other girls.

She found it really hard to find other women who shared her interests.

And she did write on pink paper and she did have a pink fluffy pen that she took to class.

And so she started writing letters because she couldn't find any friends at Stanford in law school.

Apparently they didn't like the girl with the pink pen.

And so she would write letters home or like write letters to her friends about what it was like to feel like an outcast for liking pink at law school.

And those pages eventually went on to be the manuscript for Legally Blonde.

Now she's having a great time.

So the casting of Luke Wilson and Reese Witherspoon is really interesting here because when the team were adapting the novel came out, people loved it.

I think she self-published and then she sent it into a publishing house on pink paper, which is how they pulled it out of the slush pile.
