But they were just like, no, we think she's a bit unlikable because like Annette in Cruel Intentions could be a bit of a blah, like, you know, only because she didn't want to sleep with a crazy man.

And then Tracy Flick is like the ultimate, like, she gets shit done, but you don't want to hang out with her.

And they were like, we can't, this leading lady, this movie, people have to love her.

So it can't be Reese Witherspoon.

And so Reese Witherspoon and her agents got together and they're like last ditch effort because the people making the movie wanted her, but the studio were like, absolutely not.

So she went in to like meet them in full Elle Woods glam and like she had perfected the Elle Woods walk and her voice and all these things she wanted to do.

And she went in and met them as Elle Woods to be like, I'm an actress.
