Okay, so I had forgotten that the movie starts like that.
Like so it starts in that like what they call like their meadow, her and Edward's meadow.
Her broken leg and various injuries from the last movie have healed.
And then yeah, there's this moment where she's this older woman and Edwards still kisses her and she wakes up in a cold sweat screaming.
Because that's the thing about Twilight is a lot of the messages stay the same.
And the thing a woman has to fear the most is aging still.
I guess it wasn't the book too, because obviously in the books were like really in Bella's head and it's her POV.
And she's so stressed because she doesn't want to be a year older than Edward.
She doesn't be older at all, but she's so aware that he is frozen at seventeen, right?
Yeah.
And now she's turned eighteen an age he will never be, despite the fact that he's over a hundred years old.
I know.
And again, this is when she needed to sort of just take a look at the world around her and be like, it's okay to date a slightly younger man.
Yes.
It's fine.
Or older in this case.
A very old.
