I think if anyone's in that situation where maybe their partner is really earning the big wage, you've been a stay-at-home parent in an expensive house in an expensive suburb at an expensive school and you're panicking about all of those things,
remembering in the percentage split there will be a consideration for that disparity and to try and accommodate for the kids that will all be in the negotiations and you don't just get left high and dry there is scope for a higher percentage so don't panic.

I also see people wanting to, they know their property settlement's happening, that it'd be paid out, that trying to move on to the next place, but they need either bond or rent money, or they want to put a deposit down.
Is there any way they can get money earlier to do it?
Can you have something in the agreement where you're allowed to stay in the house for an extra two weeks after the settlement or something like that to give you time?
