So you've got autism and your daughter does.

I actually have children with ADHD and autism as well.

And I was recently diagnosed as ADHD and it's been life-changing.

So we all get some of the struggles that you may, if you're listening to this episode, that you may be facing.

And the great news is that Amanda has got some great qualifications and some tips that may very well help you if you're listening today.

Before we get started, Amanda, do you want to tell us a little bit about how you work to support neurodiverse families?

Can I just throw the biggest question at you I can think of to start with is what would you do differently for a neurodivergent child that you would not do for a neurotypical child when they're going through divorce?

Perfect.

So if anyone today is listening who's maybe going through the testing process at the moment or the teachers reached out to them or they suspect maybe their kid has some sort of neurodivergency, the information you're giving today would still apply whether they've got a diagnosis or not.

In regards to the legal side of things, does the court care if you've got an official diagnosis or will they take it on face value if you say my child has neurodiversity special needs?
