Often it happens in those moments when you experience the greatest loss, experience the greatest pain. And I think really when my mother died, it was one of the most dramatic, I think, impactful moments in our lives as a family and also my father, because it really made him want to go out into the world and just do things, right? Act to almost soothe this, this hurt that he was feeling.
