Yes, I get that a lot.
Also, you know, people in LA, a lot of people do lunch.
I don't do lunch.
Nobody wants to see me at lunch with their spouse or hear that I was at lunch.
Yeah, it does.
I mean, because I think what a lot of people don't realize is that every relationship and particularly a marriage, it is a contract.
It is transactional.
I know people think, oh God, don't say that.
That's so unromantic, but it is true.
And so having a certain amount of understanding and expectations from each other is extremely important.
Make sure that you have a good line of communication between you and your spouse.
And that goes in all directions.
I mean, it has to do with sexuality.
It has to do with child rearing.
But I think one of the things that you're getting at is it has to do with finances.
And we see so many women, the generation above us for sure, but even in this generation who kind of smart, educated women abdicate their financial responsibilities when they get married.
Because let's be honest, it's a pain in the ass.
But if you're not paying attention, then you're not truly being a partner in the relationship.
And you have much more exposure if things were to go wrong.
I would say, let's talk about some of the not so sexy, not so pretty truths of what this is going to look like 10 years from now, 20 years from now, when I'm getting older, when my boobs are sagging, even before that, when I'm on the delivery table giving birth and you're in the room and we know that's not pretty.
