Because unlike past generations, people are not staying married as long.
God bless those of you who do.
It's great.
And you are the lucky ones.
But there are frankly more people who don't stay married than those who do.
So it's pretty common.
It shouldn't be as taboo as it always has been.
It's not a failure.
It's kind of a fact of life.
So now what are we doing in our next chapter, particularly where people are young and living longer and looking better longer and sexually active longer?
What's next?
we're not going to just crawl up in a hole and die.
How are we now going to take that trip to Europe we always wanted to, or the language class we always wanted to, or the photography class we always wanted to?
How are we going to meet the people that we didn't ever get to know before?
How are we going to be a better parent to our child?
Because now we're not stuck in a relationship where one or both of us was miserable.
What is my next chapter going to look like?
What does that even look like?
