That's what I would say.

This is happening.
And
Get out of it with as little damage as you can to your family, to your kids, to each other, to yourself.
It's pretty bloody simple advice.
It's easier said than done.
I do know that.
But if your divorce lawyer is saying that, the person who actually stands to gain the most out of it not being simple, there must be something there, right?
I entered a period last year where I was like, I want to be happy.
And here's what makes me happy.
Whether it's spending time with friends, being with my kids, being at the beach, traveling with Jason.
The firm is doing really well.
My practice is going really well.
I made it.
And so now rather than continuing to strive and climb, I still wanna do the best I can at my job, but I really wanna enjoy some of the fruits of my labor.
And I wanna be able to still live
and experience new adventures while I'm young enough, physically able to do it and have the money that I worked so hard to earn and be able to like go enjoy things.
