And you think in the future years we will.
Is that the good news, that it's not a sealed fate, that if you do the work later in life, you can work against these negative outcomes?
Is it ever too late to seek help?
I know that's a silly question.
I know the answer is no.
Yeah.
I remember when I first started going to therapy, like I didn't have a lot of words or ways to describe some of the difficulties I was going through.
I was getting divorced at the time.
And my therapist called it like emotional intelligence, like being able to talk about what you're going through.
Just put words to it and be articulate about it.
Like that's a skill that I guess I learned in my 20s.
I'm not amazing at it.
But later in life, you're saying it's doable.
It's just a little bit harder.
I'm imagining someone listening thinking, okay, yeah, I had that stressful childhood.
Maybe I lost a parent.
Maybe I went through something rough.
And then also thinking, also, I have a lot of health problems.
Where do we even begin?
If someone's listening and they're kind of bought into what you're talking about, but where would they even begin?
