Even those that are subjected to emotional abuse, they're expecting that the partner is going to put them down, there's going to be manipulation, control, so they're ready to fight, yes.

Yeah, and I would say I think we've come a long way now in 2026 around understanding postnatal depression.

Postnatal doesn't even necessarily have to happen when the child's an infant.

It can happen as the child becomes a teen.

So I think we're getting better at understanding how parenting can trigger

And you're operating a lot of time on low energy exhaustion.

So how are you meant to think rationally when you're depleted emotionally?

If you have got depression that hasn't really been addressed or anxiety.

Especially if you've been, your sense of worth has been challenged in that you've been abused and sexually abused.

I can't imagine how you would see yourself and think of yourself.

So when you become a mother, you would be questioning what kind of woman am I?

What kind of care am I?

What can I really give these kids?

And that would play with your mind too and blow up.

Yeah.

And I wonder also if it's the first signs of borderline personality.

I think she was diagnosed at that point.

And not thinking about the consequences.

There's no empathy as well.
