Trump asking about leaving this agreement doesn't actually mean that he will.
Trump very much believes in leverage and having Canada feel like the U.S.
might have one foot out the door could allow for the U.S.,
to push for more favorable terms, both from Canada as well as Mexico, which ultimately is what Trump wants to do when he's seeking any sort of deal.
Trump has been critical of Canada and of Mexico, and this isn't too surprising.
However, this is so significant to this core and key trade agreement between the U.S.
and Canada, this trade relationship rather that.
This is a devastating day for a close-knit community and the loss being felt.
This tricky question of what is the path forward on immigration is not exactly something that is easy, nor is the path forward all that clear.
And so the lawmakers that have between now and next Friday to hammer out a deal really are up against not only the clock, but also
the massive impacts between the two sides.
Democrats really are concerned and dug in about trying to step
really pushed the administration and the government really away from funding Department of Homeland Security.
And Mike Johnson sounded confident about the two week runway to negotiate immigration issues.
But the Senate would certainly beg otherwise.
They spent months trying to hash out a deal years ago, and that was scuttled entirely.
The Supreme Court hears arguments whether the president can fire a Federal Reserve governor over these mortgage fraud allegations.
The other part of it is that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will be there at the arguments themselves, which is pretty unprecedented.
The idea of the Fed chair saying,
