I actually wouldn't even if it was yeah like you said even if it was someone who was just difficult to be around I genuinely would never and especially like it's awful that you went into it with the fear that ended up coming through like it's just so unfair no wonder it ruined your Sunday you went in being like and I'm seeing this like as a bit of a pattern but like I'll tone it down a little bit you know I won't try and like
And then you still got this kind of a response.
It's very hard for that not to hit your self-esteem.
There is really, you know, and her last piece was, I just wish people understood that.
And you did a really amazing, brave thing for sending that in because it does spread awareness on what the families go through.
And there's two experiences happening.
You know, her sister, whose life has been consumed by drugs since she's a teenager.
And that's really difficult.
And that has its own story.
And then this person who has had this in her life since she's nine.
that's really important to know that she was nine, like her brain is developing and like it's going to go through its second major stage in adolescence where it starts to like prune and it's going to form new ideas about the world and really kind of like set them in, right?
And I just think about family members of mine who've grown up in addiction and who might be free from the actual danger zone for years and still get panic attacks that still get scared if there is
you know unexpected noises or if someone doesn't answer their phone so like we call this hyper vigilance right it's when the body is set um and almost stays in a state of waiting for something really bad to happen um so i just want to say that this family deserves so much support i do want to like recommend that you get support um it's never ever too late to get support i think it's really important that there's some like boundaries set in here and i'll chat about that in a sec
And the other part, I love her.
You don't even need to like you can see the love you have for your sister.
Like this is so you you've given so much of yourself already.
