speaking about him I think social media helps me a lot as well in terms of like I would make like little bits of content about him on days where I want to speak about him when I want to put it into something that isn't just words you know I think that really helps yeah we honour him in all the way like on our wedding

We had speeches that were just very, let's just say unique with some of his phrases in it.

We had songs that we sang that were music that he loved.

We drank the drinks he liked, you know, like we bring him into everything.

I do anyway in my life and I really try to.

And sometimes that comes out in ways that feel so positive and powerful and like, wow, I'm so lucky I knew him.

And then sometimes it's like, I miss him so much, you know, like there were some songs I wouldn't play on the way up here.

I was trying to get into my feels.

I was like, what do I want to talk about today?

And there are some songs that I probably wouldn't play.

I kind of know myself really well and like when I need to access certain parts, but we don't always have control over it, you know?

With suicide, there is that increased risk of complex grief, obviously, and feeling a bit stuck in your stages and really struggling.

Again, I'm really lucky with the support that I have and the tools that I had.

And a lot of my family would have been anti-therapy before then and are all engaged with therapy now.

I think that was the first time when I realised, oh,

these are the kind of things that can happen in the world, you know?

To not just other people, but to me.

Even though I saw it in my area and saw so many beautiful young boys and girls lose their lives to suicide, it was kind of for them.

It wasn't mine, you know?
