Beryl Cook once said that she paints all of those big Rubenesque ladies in the foreground because she hated doing backgrounds.

So she just was like, no, I just have a very, you know, curvaceous lady so I don't have to paint the background.

Likewise with social media, I think it's really boring to write about.

So I was just like, in this book, there's no social media because Charlie nails her cell phone to the wall.

So therefore nothing is happening on the phone.
