Hey, Mitch, I need like 10 days off.
I got to make this trip real quick to Turkey.
And then he comes to the Bulls and he has to take a much more reduced role and learn to live in that space of taking a reduced role.
I mean, back in those days, you couldn't get enough of the Bulls.
Like, you were trying toβ Anybody.
And you weren't getting Michael, you know.
You probably weren't getting Scotty.
Occasionally, Horace would do some stuff.
So you're like, oh, all right, let's see Stacy King, BJ Armstrong, like getting packs.
Yeah.
Getting those guys out there and doing stuff.
And then you start to build a career.
And on top of that, one of the things I really appreciate about Stacy as a color analyst is his time coaching.
Like it really did benefit him as a broadcaster, him having that experience of understanding what players, as the game modernizes, as you phase out of your playing career and the game starts to change, like what that's like for young players and understanding how they roll.
Yeah, larger than life in a lot of different aspects.
And the fun and the joy that he brought to people.
That's it, man.
Him kind of being a Pied Piper at the United Center.

And you see all the people that flock to take a picture with Stacey King and spit his catchphrases at him.
