I really liked how Detroit responded because they got punched in the mouth early.

But in the first quarter, they're leading.

They were playing with so much energy.

I mean, Jared, like I definitely am going to want to hear more about what that environment was like in Little Caesars Arena, because it clearly felt like Detroit played off that, especially their bench, especially Ron Holland.

I feel like this was just more about skill.

I mean, Detroit outscored San Antonio by 18 points in the paint.

They were even in the mid-range.

Detroit made more free throws, even though they attempted the same number of free throws.

But if you're going to have Devin Vassell make as many threes as your entire team by himself, one dude...

I think that's where you have to look at.

I think Detroit is going to want to have this game again.

And what's happening next Thursday?

Right there, deep in the heart of Texas, these teams are going to play again.

So I'm not going to overreact to what this says about the Pistons.

The Pistons are going to have their shot.

I think it's great for the Spurs.

They went in there and they did their job.

And now Detroit, they know that they have to show that they can respond because that's playoff basketball, too.

You get a game and then we see the same teams play each other in a short time frame.

And in the regular season, the following week is pretty short.
