I think the biggest thing for me, and that's also motivated me in a lot of aspects of my life and in my job and stuff like that, is I never had access to mental health or anything post-trauma, post-war.
And that was also one of my biggest motivators to get out.
When I was a refugee and when I settled in Canada, the first thing that I did was I want to go to therapy.
I've been saying I want to go to therapy since I was 13.
