When a storm destroyed the bridge Persian King Xerxes had built across the Hellespont, he ordered his soldiers to whip the water 300 times as punishment and shout insults at the water while doing so.

He then had the engineers who built the bridge executed for failing him.

The ocean did not care.

Yeah.

It whipped my ass.

I know not to whip it.

is a wonderful offload man wow i've got to do another daily bread okay um no in all seriousness thank you bro it was it's been awesome to turn another year i i'm actually the happiest i've i've ever been in my life with all the i can co-sign that yeah with all the equations that we have to figure out in our own personal lives between whatever it is we got going on i like the equations that i'm trying to solve i really love my family

my partner, my life, you guys.

And so, yeah, I've never experienced this much sense of purpose, this much sense of gratitude, this much sense of what God's provided for me.

And I enjoy turning older.
