It just didn't have the desired effect.
But Martial was the difference.
I mean, he's a player that Graham and I were just talking and he affects games.
You know, he must look at things...
how can I keep being on the bench scoring as many goals as what he does?
The problem is he's got his up against Rashford and Lukaku, but he's a genuine talent.
He really is.
And so often you see players get in those positions, Graham's right, poor defending by Tottenham.
Not the cleanest strike he's ever going to get, but he gets into areas where he can score goals.
And that's what he's got, that blistering pace that bothers any defence.
Did that improve at all?
I think the Dele Alli chances, as Ledley rightly says, was the one that you thought that could have made a difference at a big time in the game.
If he scores that, completely different game.
But I mentioned the word belief in commentary and I felt that at times...
They were a little bit tippy-tappy.
There were times when they could have gone and got this Man Utd back four, but they decided to come back and come into areas and play safe.
I know they miss Harry Kane, but this is a problem they've got against the top six, and they need to change that.
If they want to win the title, Graham's side, when they won at Liverpool for many, many years, they'd go away here and they wouldn't have it.
There'd be no fear.
And I still feel at times when Tottenham play in these big away games, they haven't got the personality to win these games yet.
