You gotta have guys ready to be able to slide in a different position.
And that's the issue.
Like you just never know where he's gonna line up.
So at one time you're expecting him to be the middle field safety and he's lined up in the box as a dime linebacker.
And then the next play, he's in the slot and he blitzes off the slot right, right, right off the hash.
You're not expecting that because, like, hold on, this dude was in the middle of the field.
Hold on, he was in the he was the in-box safety.
Oh, now he's in the slot.
Right.
So it puts pressure on you.
And that's why I think when you talk about
being multiple on defense and versatile in your position groups and you hear the word positionless football.
You hear that thrown around all the time.
That's what they mean.
They want you to be able to play multiple positions.
That way the offense or defense can't get a key on what that offense or defense is doing.
He's definitely popped.
The funny thing is, they even put him at in one time in one-on-one pass rush, just closing the pocket.
I know last year, you know, Quinnen Williams, before he got traded, they did a little bit of that with him too.
Cause sometimes you just want that that big defensive tackle to crush the edge down.
