Yeah, without a doubt.
Just go back to when he was playing with CJ.
And that's like the best Jamin Sherwood we saw.
Now, again, he transitioned to the middle linebacker position because CJ got hurt, ultimately.
But let's not forget, he played more Will and Sam when he first got with Robert Sala.
So he's going kind of back to his natural position.
Coming out of college at Auburn, he was a linebacker slash safety.
And I was asking his defensive coordinator, like,
Do you think he can make that transition to like the well back?
And he's like, I think that's where he's going to transition.
And now he'll be able to play that more freely with the Mario Davis in the middle of that defense.
So would not be surprised if we see a major bounce back for Jamie and Sherwood.
Again, anytime you're playing with a veteran like the Mario Davis, a consummate pro, Sherwood like hit the lottery because he's played with CJ and now the Mario Davis.
Like what two better veterans to learn from if you're a young linebacker?
Yeah, and see, this goes into what we were talking about earlier.
So when you have a Calvin Pace, when you have a Derek Barnes, they allow you to be so multiple because when you go to that extra linebacking position, they can essentially become that same linebacker.
And when you look at the roster currently constructed,
Mauro Noah's been more of a will.
Mike Walker's kind of been like a will.
So what's one of them, if we go to a traditional 4-3, would play that Sam position, would play the Calvin Pace or the Barnes position?
