And then you come now and say, why are you here illegally?

Well, they're here illegally because you wouldn't let them regularize their status.
You wouldn't know they're contributing billions of dollars to the economy and
And now you're spending a billion dollars to get rid of them.
It's not a fair exchange.
It's not a good exchange.
And rather than spending billions of dollars to get rid of them, allow them legally to work to make billions of dollars for the economy.
I mean, whoever's running the show is a little bit off, I think.
And of course, we know Stephen Miller is the one who has a lot of these ideas.

You know, what kind of policies are motivated?
Number one, voting.
People want to vote for people who scare them and they can find a solution.
I mean, that's the whole rhetoric that's been so popular lately.

surveillance about apprehension about deportation that seemed incredibly extreme but you have an extreme idea invasion invasion is a bit war metaphor you have to deal with war metaphors with war challenge and so these policies on deportation surveillance etc are in a sense allowed because of the extreme nature of the rhetoric that says we have a big problem
