But unfortunately, as soon as, you know, I came out of the hysterectomy, they realised it had spread into lymph nodes and that I would need a course, a six-week course of radiotherapy with chemotherapy along with it.
When we finished that then,
Like, that had obliterated my ovaries, basically, so I was straight into menopause.
And, yeah, I just still had a lot of pain, and we'd done scans, and they were confident they got things, and I was...
I was stage three at that stage, but they had told me like, you know, yeah, the scans are clear and everything is really good.
And I started 2024 off in a lot of pain and I kind of didn't feel like things were going good.
But again, my body had been through so much at that point, like so it made sense to kind of be in pain.
And, you know, all that year I just spent kind of honestly taking a lot of painkillers and
going to the doctors, going into my appointments, telling them how much pain I was in, getting pain injections.
I went privately at one point for pain injections, like trying everything.
I just felt like, well, if this is the pain I'm going to have to live in, how am I going to control it?
I couldn't bring my kids to school.
I couldn't do my shopping.
I did.
Yeah, I found a lump.
I think it was, was it the start of 2025?
I rang them and I said, like at this stage, I was going for appointments every three months and I was saying how much pain I was in and
The start of 2025, I just said, can I please just come in?
Like, you need to see me earlier.
So they agreed to see me earlier and they said, what's wrong?
