I went for an ultrasound in the January and that came, that was fine as well.

And then I, March 2023, I went for my next smear and yeah, that's when they called me, they rang me.

So my actual GP was on maternity at the time and the clinic rang me and they were like, can you come down to us?

And I was like, I actually got a letter in as well.

So I was like, it's to do with my smear, is it?

they were like yeah so I went down and I knew it was at that point that when I looked at all my symptoms I was like oh my god I have every symptom for cervical cancer like I was just like okay so I went down and they were like yeah look you need to you need to go to Rotunda and you need to go to Colposcopy I can never say that word and then I was like okay

So I actually was going on holidays as well.

So I went in for that appointment and I just said to the girls in the rotunda, I just said, look, it's not going to be good today.

And they were like, what do you mean?

And I was like, I have every symptom going like, and they were like, oh, don't worry, you know, and they were like, when was your last mare?

And I was like, 2020.

And they were like, oh, 2020, like, don't worry.

And...

do you know what I know I remember my mum saying oh that's their job and they have to be empathetic but I could just feel that they felt so sorry on me in there and I was like okay and they were like they sat me up you know and they were like they actually I think they'd done the letter procedure on me that day where I wasn't due to get it done and they were like I was going to do a little procedure and I was like okay and when they sat me up

they were like, your results will be back in about three weeks.

And I was, I knew it was normally like four to six weeks.

And I just kind of said, look, I'm going to say it to you now.

I said, I know I'm not going to get good news and I'm actually going on holidays.

I said, can you just write down on somewhere and just nobody ring me till I get back from holidays.

And they were like, yeah.
