And I think that's when I was sitting at home recovering from that.

I was like, this just does not add up.

Like this, how, how could I have just have to have a hysterectomy because I've started with cancer, but yet I've had all my smears.

I've never had abnormalities.

And like I was like, you know, they say it's a slow progressing cancer.

And, you know, I've had friends that were like SIN1, SIN2, SIN3.

And I was like, I've never had the LEST procedure.

I've never had any of that.

So I'm like so confused, you know.

And that's when I actually, I think it was within that two weeks that I rang Siobhan, Brian and Keanu O'Carroll.

Yeah.

In medical negligence?

Yes.

So I had hired them obviously through Vicky Phelan and you know all that and I was on the phone to Siobhan for about an hour just kind of explaining my whole situation and yeah I just thought like it just didn't add up.

Did you have any idea at the time then?

that the smears they gave you they said they were negative did you at the time you had no idea that they got that wrong you had no idea it was just an intuition i had no idea but i again it was just my gut feeling yeah i was like oh my god like am i like one of those women it doesn't add up

And then I went in for an appointment then and that's kind of when they said to me, you know, I had spread to the lymph nodes and we have to do chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

And I just went, oh my God, this isn't over.

Like I thought I was going to get the hysterectomy and I was going to be back to work by Christmas.

Like I genuinely did.
