And unfortunately, like everything just got worse and worse from there.
Like, you know.
I actually got my first smear in 2009, I think it was, because...
You know, we were kind of the ages where we watched Big Brother.
Like I watched that from the start and the whole Jade Goody.
Like all that happened with Jade Goody.
And I didn't even know what a smear was before that, to be honest with you.
Yes, same, same.
And I remember watching that going, oh my God, she was so young.
She was like very near my age.
And I was like, what is a smear like?
So I actually went to the doctor and I was like, I want to get a smear.
And I did, I got one and yeah, I paid for privately and everything was fine.
I was only like 19 at the time, so I wasn't eligible for a cervical check and, you know, the one that we all get sent for and things like that.
So then that was 2009 and then I moved to Dublin in 2011.
When I moved to Dublin, I actually found it very hard to find a doctor, like a GP.
Like there was so many doctors up here that weren't taking people on.
So I'd go to like walk-in clinics and stuff.
So I think in 2012 would have been when I would have had my first eligible smear.
