No, it wasn't just, uh, they just happened to be early on, but you know, overall, uh, was a big contributor to, um, the Disney films and the Disney parks and innovations and the cost savings and the awards.
Well, I think in the early 50s when he started experimenting with, you know, the idea of an amusement park across the street.
Yeah, but it also was too small, you know, proved itself too small.
So, again, you know, he needed a larger space.
So, you know, they searched all over and it became the space.
No, I think he thought this is exciting and he was there to figure it out.
I think there was a story about how they met in the hallway in Walt.
This was eight, I mean, almost eight months prior to the park opening, apparently, or right around there.
And he said, there's a, you know, that was during the time when you had the widescreen format in films and VistaVision and whatnot.
Yeah.
And Walt said, I'd love to come up with something that was 360 so we could just do that and see it all around us.
And he said, do you think you could figure that out?
We could do it for Tomorrowland by the time it opens.
That was eight months away.
And this is a totally unproven, uninvented, non-invented project.
Right.
And so he said, give me a couple of days, came back to Walt and said, I think I got a way to do it.
So we figured out the Circarama camera system and then not only invented an entire camera system, but a projection system.
And they went out and made the film all within eight months.
And that was the beginning of Circarama and Circle Vision.
