Coming up after a California fire captain was found stabbed to death in her home, investigators went looking for her wife and uncovered her troubling past.

For our next story, we turn to San Diego County, where a woman is set to be sentenced for killing her wife, a longtime California firefighter.

Back in February of 2025, Rebecca Becky Morodi was found murdered inside her home.

Investigators soon focused on one suspect, Becky's wife, Yolanda Morotti, who had already fled the country.

San Diego Sheriff's Deputies are on the lookout now for 53-year-old Yolanda Morotti in connection with Rebecca Morotti's murder.

Yolanda was arrested a month later in Mexico and charged with Rebecca's murder.

Initially, she pleaded not guilty.

But in August that all changed.

Yolanda admitted that she had stabbed Rebecca more than a dozen times.

And in a devastating twist, it turned out this isn't the first time Yolanda has admitted killing someone close to her.
