Yes, he's going on the aisle and he's been fairly injury prone this year.
He didn't even make his season debut till June 22nd.
So the White Sox are not going to be able to outbid or let me let me rephrase that.
Could they outbid the Yankees and Dodgers for one of the star catchers?
Maybe.
are they going to do that just yet?
I don't think so because they're ahead of schedule, but it is, uh, you know, with the Orioles, you don't need two star catchers really, uh, unless one of them is, uh, Sal Perez and he's happy DHing, uh, frequently.
And I think that that is, you know, you deal from a surplus.
You really only need one star guy and then you need a backup that's capable of going once or twice a week.
Uh,
So if they can get good value for Adlai Rutschman, it seems unthinkable to go back and tell 2024 you that the O's are dealing Rutschman.
But yeah, I mean, that does make sense, especially if they can –
man, get some pitching in Baltimore, that that would be a good move for them.
And you're right with the Rockies.
Like, Hunter Goodman, if they trade him, could be one of the more valuable position players on the trading block this year.
The question is, you know, does Paul DePodesta view Goodman as somebody he wants to build around as he sort of begins his era in Colorado?
And if so...
You could do worse as guys to build around.
But yeah, I mean, I think he's at 30 home runs now.
That's a guy you could get a good haul for.
