Appearances
That's a tough situation and he's just going day by day and trying to play as best as he can when he's out there.
So
Uh trying to play through that injury uh may damage his effectiveness somewhat and it has, you know, we've seen him taken off that top line in favor of players like Domi and McMahon.
Uh so something to keep an eye on, you know, maybe something to consider if you've got a full schedule and you need to bench someone, maybe Nice is not a bad choice there.
Uh the team has said there's no timeline for Neilander's return.
He was selected to represent
in Sweden in the Olympics, now that's questionable.
Um so we will continue obviously uh to keep an eye basically he is progressing but we don't know exactly what progressing means.
Uh hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later.
We're going to take a quick break.
When we get back, we'll talk some more injuries and outjuries, and then those two hot streaks and a cold streak.
You're listening to short shifts.
Welcome back to Short Shifts.
Like I mentioned, it's a period of time where you gotta be ready for some quick changes, just some quick updates on some players who were scratched or who were sick if you were wondering why they may have been out of the lineup.
We have Miko Rantinen out ill.
Um
Val Nishushkin uh was out for Colorado's Monday game because he was involved in a car accident on the way.
Uh and though he probably, you know, health-wise was fine to play, maybe a little shaken up given the night off, um, went to IR and write off very quickly.
Elvis Merzlikens, as I mentioned, left the game sick today, and then Igor Cherneshov was um
a scratch uh for the sharks today.
