I don't know if that's something that you've been experiencing.

It's like, okay.

I had a,

You know, it's kind of a tragic experience because he had a car accident, I guess, 18 years ago now that he had a severe brain trauma.

So he was in a coma for a few months after that.

He eventually woke up.

He shouldn't have made it, but he survived.

And he kind of lived 17 years...

you know, in his home watching TV and that was it because he didn't have the ability to work anymore.

He lost his memory.

He wasn't, he could walk and talk some, but it wasn't, wasn't the same.

Yeah.

So it was like, he always had to ask me, wait, didn't you go, didn't you play football?

Even though he was at every football game.

You know, he'd forget my name sometimes and just kind of have to like remind him every time you saw him, telling him the same story where he'd be like, oh yeah, okay, that's right.

He just didn't have the spirit that he once had.

And so it was kind of a 17 years of a loss.

He was physically here, but emotionally not here.

And then when he passed, it was almost like I finally could grieve for the first time because I wasn't able to really grieve him not being around but physically being here because I didn't have those conversations with him.

So that was challenging.
