Well, it is trippy because you can see 24 miles on a good day.

And that's because the earth is round, you know, you lose the visibility.

And so, yeah, you know, some days it's like curtains opened and you can see miles.

And then other days it's really close.

Just the atmosphere changes and you feel quite trapped in by the clouds.

Really?

And then when it breaks open, it's like this huge release.

It's really strange.

No, it's just conditions.

It's the density of the air.

It's the clouds, how low they are, how high they are.

Yeah.

So my rowing partner in the Atlantic had never flown to America.

Well, I learned this halfway and I was like, oh my God, you must feel like Christopher Columbus discovering the new world.

You have actually no concept of distance.

Yeah.

Because if you've been in a plane, say, to Japan, I think, what, it's 12 hours.

And so if you row it, then you can go, okay, you've got the time zones.

You can picture it in your mind.
