And it was so fulfilling and so fun.

got pregnant, had my son, and as a single mom was like, Oh

Um, so but I did this for years and I remember having to scramble for child care services nearly every week.

And then much previous in my life, I had gone through some fairly traumatic events that

really helped me become extremely confident in the person that I was and who I was building.

And I felt as though I had a unique enough story and the skills to help other women who had gone through domestic abuse and other things like that.

Twenty nineteen, well, much earlier, probably about twenty fifteen, I called up my son's father and I said, Hey, I really wanna hire a business coach.

I really want to start a business.

And he said, I will withhold child support if you do that.

I absolutely will not support you.

That's a terrible idea.

Entrepreneurship is

Too risky, you can't do it.

And I didn't know what my rights were.

I didn't know that you actually can't do that.
