Yeah, I I think Everton have been curious for a while.
Um they were fighting relegation a few years ago.
Um, I think feels like long gone in the days when they were a top half European level Premier League side.
Um I don't know how much it helps with the kind of the Balogun saga as well of kind of having him, then not having him.
Um they're kind of churning their way through a few different strikers at the moment.
Um I I mean there's real obvious strengths to that team, but the problem is
That they were kind of the I think the things that are dying out a bit in the game of having a really solid back line, really good physical centre backs could be a kind of a you know really big set piece through it as well.
Um and where they did start to evolve was kind of uh kind of a year ago now when they brought in Jewsbury Hall, they kind of got, I think, a bit more just kind of dynamic attacking, got kind of more runners beyond the ball.
They suddenly became a team that weren't just running on crosses but could get closer to goaling.
So it's cutback positions.
Um Njai helped with that.
I think as well, 'cause he could play both sides.
So
I don't really have a great answer to this question because I'm I think Everton have to ask themselves, and there's other teams in the league that need to do this as well, is what kind of team do we want to be?
That there's kind of a good now kind of core of younger players coming through.
You look at if Jared Bruntwaite can stay fit, that's a top level centre back who can do the physical side.
He's a left footer, can break lines.
James Garner last season, every time I watched him, was just absolutely outstanding, would just run the show in midfield, could do a bit of everything that you say, okay, all the pieces are there.
To kind of build a team from.
Um, do you want to put them in behind Tarkovsky and and Keane for another three, four years and keep doing that?
