You need someone to kind of bring that all together.
Okay, he's making the difference in scoring goals, but sometimes you need that guy that can then hold the ball up so you can bring your midfielders into play, bring your wingers into play.
I mean, on the kind of Ecuador game in the round of 32, it's an interesting opposition because obviously Mexico have had the benefit of playing at altitude, as Salah was techers, a couple of thousand meters above sea level, which physiologically for most, I think, well, for all European teams would be a huge test.
I think as much as the home kind of field advantage, having the fans there, it's a different environment to play in.
Up until a few years ago, Ecuador were also a team that played at altitude.
And in fact, that was one of the reasons why in kind of World Cup qualifying, they could either make tournaments or they'd come close because they'd win basically all of their home games in the round robin or take a lot of points.
They wouldn't really get many kind of away results.
Bolivia are the same now that, you know, have a very similar kind of trend.
Now, I don't know if this is completely rubbish because a lot of the good Ecuador players play abroad.
They play in Europe.
Some still play in Ecuador in their kind of national league.
So you might actually have a rare instance where they're coming up against another team that are probably fine with playing at altitude.
They might lose that benefit a bit.
For England, I think it would be a very different prospect if they get there.
That would be one of their most challenging games because physically, especially if Tuchel wants to play a really intense system, high pressing, a lot of running in behind, that's just way harder to do at altitude.
