I've only envisaged the left sort of appearing more and more in recent times.
But so they were on to you from the start.
Did that make you want to elevate the movement even more then?
So the division expansion of the EDL wasn't in your original roadmap.
It just sort of happened organically like that because there was a need for every town.
And all shared the same problems.
But the grooming gangs, I mean, we know they were going on there now, but was you aware that they were going on at the infancy of the EDL?
We said, yeah, do it.
And the driving force was the pursuit for justice.
And when you think if you're doing a job like that and you're putting together groups of men that are all in the pursuit for justice, did you have many clashes with the police?
Because you would think the police would think this is quite a good thing.
Now we can work side by side.
My rational brain would think that.
Because if it's too much work for them to police themselves, the grooming gangs, the heroin, the violence, the disrespect to our own soldiers, you kind of think, oh, this could work if we work together.
Like, you would think that?
Yes.
I know, I know.
I'm trying to give the police a squeeze here.
