And John McGinn in particular was superb.

And then it just became about when Villa scored to take control of the game.

absolutely hammers the ball across the face of goal, takes out Sunderland goalkeeper, and Ollie Watkins again just powers it in with his head from about two yards out.
And then right at the start of the second half, really clinical Aston Villa counter-attack, really nice off-ball movement from Morgan Rodgers, and he just takes two touches after being slipped in to find the bottom corner.
Yeah, well, I'm at least double-screening.
It really looked like Villa were just going to kind of cruise it.
Yeah.
And there was no real sign of what was going to happen.
