Okay.
First, just some information that the presentation that's on the agenda is actually from 2023.
Because I asked about the base sales tax for the county, it's still 9.125%, which was before the sales tax increase by Major A from November.
So just for public information.
So the base sales tax for the county is more than that now.
And then also that Council Member Forden was right that it takes a legislator to raise the cap.
And in fact, what I learned through Major A
is the county has reached the cap, but then in 2023, they got the legislature to pass a bill that specifically allow only Santa Clara County to go beyond the cap by 0.675%, which is exactly what they did with Major A, to go beyond the cap.

But if you look at Sunnyvale, they get 13%, almost double of
of the property tax to Sunnyvale.
They give about 20% to the county.
