It is how here on Earth we coordinate time, how we agree that uh UTC, universal coordinated time, is our standard.
And that same body is now looking to find a way to standardize time on the moon.
And they want to do it in such a way.
But then when perhaps we also want to standardise time on Mars, it's been the same process and the same set of decisions and they can say, Yep, we understand and we all agree what the time is on Mars as well.
the scientists will have a lot more information as they study the debris that they hope that will be ejected from the collision.
By studying the light that is reflected from that material, scientists can analyze the light and determine the composition of the material, which helps them understand the composition of the moon in the impact site.
And that's great for the scientists who want to understand how the moon was developed, what it's made of, its history, potentially its future.
and how planetary systems, how the Moon, how the Earth and the Moon system evolved and were formed billions of years ago.
After now nearly 30 years of operation, it's perhaps not surprising that the space station is developing signs of old age.
But even in an extreme case of perhaps a hole being punched in the International Space Station by a piece of space debris and the air rushing out, the crew would still have a few hours to respond to the emergency, to trace the leak and then get in the spacecraft and get home.
