It was the same spark of chemistry that I had with Sarah.

We had one structural edit and then one copy edit and then just like the final proofing, which I was very relieved about because like you say, I was
kind of done.
I sort of had approached the editing thinking, I don't know what else can even be done to this novel.
But my editors were lovely and very gracious.
And one of my favorite comments that I just always had a laugh when I would see a comment that started with, this is interesting because I know it's going to be like a
Are you sure about this?
No, and I was actually living on, yeah, I was actually living on the Gold Coast when I started writing it.
But I, like I said at the beginning, like I was just writing for the sake of writing.
And I kind of got to this point where I was like,
where is this?
I live in Brisbane now, but I loved the city.
