That's quite a while, yeah.
Well, and also him, like Laurent as a character is quite unique in that like he does come off as like really cold and like you can't really tell what he's thinking.
And at the beginning he kind of does seem a little bit like monstrous.
Like he is a villain.
Like the things that he kind of does and when you're thinking about it from Damon's perspective, like he doesn't know so much of the story and he's just kind of going off what he is seeing and the things that are happening to him that are really unfair and horrible.
But, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I think what I love about Laurent is that he like let's let our characters be both good and bad.
Like let's let them make really terrible decisions maybe for the wrong reasons, maybe for their own like personal moral code.
Like I'm always really drawn to characters who are like morally grey but also just like characters who can often be like straight up villains.
Yeah.
Like even if it doesn't make sense to me, I'm shown that it makes sense to him and why.
Exactly.
And I'm like I'll accept that.
I'm willing to be taken on this journey because β
Like Paquette is such a good writer and does it so well.
