Hezbollah nominally in the beginning accepted the ceasefire, but very quickly started undermining the Lebanese government, saying that its talks with Israel were against the national interest.
And it went as far as call for the overthrow of the Lebanese government a few days ago.
And in the course of this, Hezbollah started explicitly rejecting the ceasefire.
So the ceasefire can be seen as
a political agreement between the Lebanese government and Israel, brokered by the US, whereas Hezbollah is rejecting this and not abiding by the instructions of the Lebanese government and effectively is being a rogue actor.
And Israel is using this as the reason to justify the expansion of its own activities in Lebanon because Hezbollah keeps striking Israel.
And Hezbollah keeps striking it because Iran is instructing Hezbollah to do so, because Iran basically wants Lebanon to be part of the bigger negotiation with the US and not become a separate file.
But the US and the Lebanese government and Israel, the three of them, are determined that the Lebanese file should be separate.

So here we really are seeing Lebanon being caught in the middle between Iran and Israel, both of them pursuing their own interests.
