honestly, one of the biggest barriers is our legislature meets in Cheyenne, which is in the southeast corner of the state.

And as I mentioned, our state is massive.

So it's really far.

And the way that our legislature works, we have a citizen legislature, meaning that the legislature meets

per session for six to eight weeks.

And then people go back to their lives.

I mean, they have committee meetings throughout the year, but no one's a full-time politician in our state.

So it creates a barrier of you have to have that flexibility to be able to leave.

And to during session, it's really intense.

If you live seven hours like I live seven hours from Cheyenne, I'm a mom.

Like there's no way I could just like pick up and leave for a couple of months or even for like the week and commute back and forth.

So intense.

It is challenging for, I think, moms and, you know, even just for like young people, for people who have a family.

So our legislature tends to be people that are either closer to Cheyenne or, you know, they have more freedom to be able to serve in those offices.

She grew up in Jackson, but she lives in Cheyenne now.

So she lives where our state capital is.

And she's been involved in government and politics.

She became a lawyer.

And she brought her daughter to Session.
