So a lot of our suffrage movement and this idea of equality, this idea of having a voice was modeled on indigenous nations.

So there's just so much depth and it is something that even when I talk about it,

There's still language like women were granted the right to vote.

I always like to say, you know, the state or the government recognized women's right to vote because it wasn't like like all of a sudden, oh, now you deserve it.

It's like, no, this is an inherent human right.

And it required a lot of advocacy and progress to get to that point.

And it is something to to exercise, right, to exercise.

I think so.

And I think, you know, Wyoming is very small scale.

And it was during those early years as a territory and statehood, too.

There just weren't a lot of people.

So you really do require everybody to step forward.

And I think that still exists today.

I mean, it's something I talk about in the book and just something that's part of my creative journey.

It's

this contrast between you could look at it like a lack of resources or you could look at it as opportunity, you know, but we are smaller scale.

We don't have millions of people in our state.

We don't even we have, you know, about 600,000 people across our entire state.

So for the most part, we're very, very rural.

And that means you can't be as anonymous.
