And with that, the Senate's voted largely along party lines to confirm Mark Wayne Mullen as the next Homeland Security Secretary.
Kentucky Republican Rand Paul, who sparred with Mullen during his confirmation hearing, voted no, while Democrats John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico voted in favor.
Mullen's confirmation coming as funding for DHS has been on hold since February 14th, leading to long lines at airports.
