Democratic Congressman Ilhan Omar after she was sprayed with an unknown substance while she was hosting the town hall as tensions remained high after the fatal shooting of an ICU nurse during an encounter with ICE agents over the weekend.

Omar appeared unhurt, though bystanders say the substance smelled bad.
The White House has not commented yet.
